Lycoming Engines, through Pennsylvania College of Technology – an affiliate of Penn State University in Williamsport, PA – offers two, hands-on training courses designed specifically for Lycoming engine owners, operators, A&P mechanics, pilots and instructors.

  • Lycoming Piston Engine Service School – a comprehensive four-day refresher course on Lycoming current-production engines.
  • Disassembly/Reassembly Course – a three-day hands-on instruction in the proper procedures for disassembling and assembling Lycoming 4- and 6-cylinder engines.

Lycoming Engines has exclusively authorized Pennsylvania College of Technology to conduct the Piston Engine Service School. Penn College is one of the nation’s leading centers of aviation education. Classes are held at the Lumley Aviation Center, located at the Williamsport Regional Airport complex in Montoursville, PA.
