Lycoming IO-580 series engines are 583 cubic inch, fuel-injected, 6-cylinder engines with reliable direct drive and an excellent power to weight ratio. The IO-580 has a bore of 5.319 inches and a stroke of 4.375 inches and produces 315 horsepower at 2,700 RPM.
