Lycoming Factory Rebuilt Engines
at Overhaul Prices!

Lycoming Engines is happy to announce that for a limited time, Lycoming Engines will be offering Rebuilt Exchange Engines at overhaul prices for all engine purchase orders received between August 31, 2009 and December 4, 2009, for those customers that agree to return what Lycoming defines as a "Select" Exchange Engine Core.

A "Select Exchange Engine Core" is defined as a Lycoming Factory New or Rebuilt engine that has never been field overhauled, otherwise known in the industry as a "first run" core.

Select Exchange Engine Cores must also:

  1. Have been placed in service on or after January 1, 1990.
  2. Be returned with the complete engine logbook or if the customer prefers, a copy of the complete engine logbook and a completed Lycoming Factory Return Material Authorization (RMA) Worksheet (form number 2500). Total time since new or factory rebuilt must be documented in the logbook.
  3. Arrive at the Lycoming Factory in an as removed, operable and airworthy condition with the valid engine data plate.
  4. Be the same model and configuration as the purchased replacement engine, including all items and accessories that were supplied with the purchased replacement engine.
  5. Arrive at the Lycoming factory or arrive at one of the two applicable international exchange core consolidation points within 120 days of the invoice date of the purchased replacement engine.
