Lycoming Earns PA Governor's Safety Excellence Award

November 18, 2016 - Lycoming Engines received the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence, recognizing the company for its relentless commitment to safety and its effective methods for keeping their workforce and facility safe.  Lycoming was one of only five companies in the Commonwealth of PA  receiving this award in 2016.  Companies are competitively judged on various safety criteria, policies and processes.  An application review team visited the company earlier this year, to tour the plant and see Lycoming’s safety culture first-hand.
