Lycoming Leader Joins Penn College Board of Directors

Pennsylvania College of Technology welcomed Shannon Massey, senior vice president of Lycoming Engines, to its Board of Directors. Massey was appointed to the Penn College Board by the Corporation for Penn State. She attended her first board meeting on Oct. 9.

Massey is responsible for the strategic direction of Lycoming Engines, the only U.S.-owned and operated aviation piston engine manufacturer. She also serves as a member of the Textron Systems Executive Leadership Team. Massey’s career spans 30 years in various roles within Textron Inc.

Massey engages as a community business partner, encouraging private and public partnership collaboration and investments at multiple levels.
