Jennifer Miller
Jennifer Miller is the Senior Director of Engineering at Lycoming Engines. Upon graduation from Pennsylvania State University with her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Jennifer held progressive leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations, Total Reliability Maintenance, and Supply Chain Management. Upon returning to her hometown of Williamsport, Jennifer started her career at Lycoming Engines where she has been for nearly 20 years, most recently overseeing Program Management and Systems Engineering. Jennifer has served for over a decade on the ASTM and SAE committees which oversee aviation fuel and lubricant specification development, as well as the FAA’s Piston Aviation Fuels Initiative whose mission to develop and deploy and unleaded piston aviation fuel solution.
Jennifer was recently appointed EAGLE's Pillar B Lead, which is responsible for leading and championing the Research, Development, and Innovation body of work associated with the implementation of an unleaded aviation fuel. EAGLE (Eliminate Aviation Gasoline Lead Emissions) is a partnership between industry and government whose goal is to eliminate the use of leaded aviation fuels for piston-engine aircraft in the United States by the end of 2030.
