Cirrus Aircraft Launches G6

The G6 SR20 is powered by a newly designed 215-hp Lycoming IO-390, and marks the first certified production Cirrus aircraft to be powered by a Lycoming engine. Southern Utah University unveils 17 new aircraft for aviation program

Southern Utah announced an expansion of its fleet – 10 Cirrus SR20s and 7 Robinson R44s. The models are all Lycoming-powered. Cirrus SR20s are powered by an IO-390-C3B6, 215HP Lycoming engine. Lycoming Receives AS9100D Certification

Lycoming Engines recently received a new Level D standard for our AS9100 certification. Independent certification organization NSF completed a week-long audit at the Lycoming Engines factory. The Level D standard represents a significant rewrite from Level C – along with an expansion of criteria. It is a higher, harder bar to pass.
